The opportunity
we saw.
Reformer Pilates was growing fast in Lagos — but almost entirely on the Island. The mainland was underserved, and Ikeja had no dedicated studio at all. BR Reformer Studios, a boutique Reformer and Cadillac Pilates studio already established in London, wanted to bring its concept to Nigeria and become the first in Ikeja. After seeing the strength of its London operation, GSV invested — as one of several backers of the Lagos studio.

GSV backed BR Reformer's entry into a new market — supporting the strategy and structure behind its first Lagos location in Ikeja GRA, alongside its other investors. Our role was to help a proven London concept land where the demand was clear but the supply wasn't.
