WHY WE BUILT IT

The opportunity
we saw.

Nigeria's retail shelves were full of confectionery, but no one had built a branded destination around imported American candy the kind people knew from travel and screens but couldn't reliably buy at home. The demand was there; the experience wasn't. So we built it. The Candy Co turned a product category into a branded retail experience premium, colourful, and built for footfall.

WHAT WE DID

Where we created
real value.

We designed the brand and store experience from the ground up — premium, high-visibility, built for footfall. Beyond the stores, we opened a wholesale channel supplying cinemas and supermarkets, turning one business into several revenue lines — all held to tight stock control and disciplined margins as it scales.

OUR THESIS

The thinking behind the business.

Candy retail looks simple. Winning at it isn’t. The businesses that last are built on discipline — a brand people seek out, operations that hold their margin, and more than one channel driving the same growth. The Candy Co was built that way from day one: profitable, repeatable, and designed to expand across cities without losing what makes it work.
